ASO Traffic Control Services for Road Closures
Road closures are needed for upgrading works, maintenance, or installation of road facilities and underground utilities.
Proper traffic and safety control must be in place during road works to reduce congestion and inconvenience to the public.
In the past, only Auxiliary Police Officers (APOs) from Certis Cisco or Aetos were allowed to provide traffic control services. Since April 2015, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has allowed approved security agencies to provide Approved Security Officers (ASOs) for road work traffic control duties.
